Cambodia's annual rubber output is about 42000 tons

Cambodia's deputy prime minister in charge of agriculture yincaili said at the 2011 International Rubber Conference held in Phnom Penh on the 25th that at present, the rubber planting area in Cambodia is more than 180000 hectares, of which 20% can be cut, and the annual rubber output is about 42000 tons

yincaili pointed out that in recent years, the rubber planting area in Cambodia has maintained an annual growth rate of about 30%. It is estimated that by 2020, the total planting area will increase to 300000 hectares, of which about 235000 hectares will be planted. The technology and scope of conventional varieties such as polyester and nylon are the world's leading rubber production, with an annual rubber output of about 290000 tons

according to the report of the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, in the first nine months of 2011, the export volume of Cambodian rubber was about 35000 tons, with a total export volume of US $160million, both significantly increased over the same period last year
